We have saved over 35% on utility costs using their insulated bubble technology. I highly recommend Yeadon Fabric domes.
- Rob ScottWhenever there’s an incident such as the collapse of a structure, there are always a lot of questions. Our condolences go out to those injured during the collapse of a fabric-framed structure that covered the Dallas Cowboys training field on Saturday, May 2, 2009. The particular structure used in Dallas was a steel frame fabric building.
Yeadon Domes does not manufacture steel frame fabric buildings. Our buildings are supported entirely by air. It is important to note the difference between tension fabric structures supported by a steel frame and air-supported structures — they are not the same.
At Yeadon Domes, we have been in business for 25 years and understand the importance of safety. All of our structures are built to comply with local building codes and wind zone requirements for each particular area where our structures are erected.
We can not speculate on the cause of this particular incident, what specifications the building was designed to or how it was engineered. If you have any questions regarding air-supported structures, please contact Matt Mejia at 651.633.7400.
